Preschool Initiative “Power Pack” (PIPP)

While participating in our CHIPP™ (Childhood Hunger Power Pack) program under the Empower Our Families initiative, the members of Pi Theta Omega recognized that the children in CHIPP™ had younger siblings who also should receive nutrition over the weekend. Poor dietary patterns in the first five years of life can impair a child’s learning ability and school readiness. Pi Theta Omega utilized a generous $12,000 donation from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Morristown, NJ to fund our new Preschool Initiative Power Pack program. Since May 2024, Pi Theta Omega has packed over 1,600 “power packs” for preschoolers in Morristown, NJ. Adequate nutrition improved the children’s attendance, concentration, and overall well-being. By supporting their nutritional needs, Pi Theta Omega is fueling their potential and paving the way for a brighter future.
